The main fields of the response.
Fields follow the provider that answered. The names below are Minha Receita’s; the full dictionary is at docs.minhareceita.org/dicionario. When a lookup falls back to ReceitaWS the names differ (for example nome instead of razao_social).

cnpj | 14-character CNPJ, no punctuation. |
razao_social | Legal name. |
nome_fantasia | Trade name. |
descricao_situacao_cadastral | Registration status (ATIVA, BAIXADA, etc.). The code is in situacao_cadastral. |
data_inicio_atividade | Activity start date. |
descricao_identificador_matriz_filial | MATRIZ (head office) or FILIAL (branch). |
porte | Company size. |
natureza_juridica | Legal nature (code in codigo_natureza_juridica). |
capital_social | Share capital, in reais. |
cnae_fiscal, cnae_fiscal_descricao | Main economic activity. |
cnaes_secundarios | List of secondary activities. |
logradouro, numero, bairro, municipio, uf, cep | Address. |
ddd_telefone_1, email | Contacts. |
opcao_pelo_simples, opcao_pelo_mei | Simples and MEI tax regimes. |
regime_tributario | Tax regimes by year. |
qsa | Partners and administrators. |
